The makers of “Coolie,” featuring veteran actor Rajinikanth, officially announces the commencement of the shoot from Sunday 7 July.

To mark the occasion, they unveiled a new poster. Director Lokesh Kanagaraj recently informed fans that updates about the movie’s cast will be revealed soon.

Earlier, there were reports suggesting that Kamal Haasan’s daughter, Shruti Haasan, would be playing Thalaivar’s daughter in the film.

Now, Shruti Haasan has confirmed her participation in ‘Coolie” via internet and announcing that she has started shooting. She posted a selfie on her Instagram stories with the caption, “Day 1 coolie .

This current news of Shruti Haasan in “Coolie is creating a buzz online. As per latest updates, it has been revealed that actors Sathyaraj and Shobana will be reuniting with Rajinikanth in “Coolie” after many years. Sathyaraj will reportedly play the role of Rajinikanth’s friend in the film.

Produced by Sun Pictures, the movie’s soundtrack will be composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
