When Lata Mangeshkar cleared rumours song “Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya” was recorded in bathroom

It’s just not only the film, but its songs too were a massive hit and won millions of hearts; especially the song “Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya”.
As per reports, amidst shoot for the famous song Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya, the makers spent one crore rupees. At that time, films were made on a budget of less than 10 lakh rupees. Lyricist Shakeel Badayuni wrote the song 105 times, while music director Naushad recorded the song with Lata Mangeshkar.
Rumours were afloat that
Pyar Kiya Toh Darna Kya was sung in a bathroom to get an echo effect. Amidst that time, the technology to make echo effects was not available. These rumours turned out to be false and In an interview, Lata Mangeshkar cleared the air.
She said that the only way to get the echo effect for this song was to record it at three different places and then overlap the recordings. She then clarified that she first sang the song in a room and then moved to a hall. She then finally moved to a room where some recording devices were brought in, but none of these places was a bathroom.
