Notably when big budget films with big stars have proved a debacle a film like “Stree 2”, the
advance booking for the film has taken a bumper response as the film sells over 40,000 tickets in less than 24 hours of tickets going for sale.

The Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer is anticipated to take a big start at the big screem theatres on 15 August- Independence Day superseding Akshay Kumar starrer Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham’s Vedaa.

As per a trade source “Stree 2 will lead the Independence Day battle with 50% share in showcasing at multiplexes.

Its deserving for this horror comedy to dominate over Khel Khel Mein and Vedaa due to tremendous demand among the cinema going audience. The shows have started to get full and Stree 2 will be the first choice for exhibitors and audience alike.”

The trade source further adds that the film is going to be a fight to the finish amid Khel Khel Mein and Vedaa for highlighting in remaining screens.

Nevertheless, by the end of Wednesday, Khel Khel Mein will take the lead over Vedaa in screen count, as end of the day, it’s an Akshay Kumar film. The shows between Khel Khel Mein and Vedaa will be divided in the ratio of 50:50.

The battle for shows is on, but at the moment, Stree 2 is leading by a margin thanks to the hype generated by franchise value. It’s time to collect some popcorn as the fight amid
Khel Khel Mein and Vedaa is expected to be intense.
