Riteish Deshmukh expresses anger over sexual assault of two toddlers in Badlapur
Actor Riteish Deshmukh has expressed his anger over the sexual assault of two toddlers of a pre-primary school by the cleaning staff member of the school in the washroom of the school. He is nauseated at the brutal incident and has demanded for stringent punishment for the perpetrator
On his X he wrote that as a parent he is absolutely , pained and raging with anger, adding, that the 4-year old girls were sexually assaulted. Infact, schools are supposed to be as safe an for kids as their own homes.
Riteish went on to add that Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in his times gave the guilty what they deserved – Chaurang- these laws should be brought to action.
As a parent he is pained and raging with anger. Schools are supposed to be as safe a place for kids as their own homes. Most glaring punishment needs to be meted out to the perpetrator.
The accused Akash Shinde was arrested under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and sections 65(2) (rape on girl under twelve years of age), 74 (assault or criminal force with the intent to outrage modesty), 75 (sexual harassment offences), and 76 (assault or criminal force used with the intent to disrobe) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
