Shahid Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj gear up to collaborate for an action-packed thriller for the third time following the Superhit, Kaminey and cult film, Haider. Producer Sajid Nadiadwala is bringing the duo together for a mission-based action film, marking Vishal’s first foray into the action genre. The film, yet untitled, will feature six massive action set pieces and is expected to be mounted on a grand scale.
Shahid Kapoor was impressed by the script’s narration and is eager to begin filming in September or October 2024. The film will be shot extensively in India and the US, with the team aiming to present a fresh story to the audience. The makers are looking to cast an A-List actress as the female lead, with pre-production work already underway.
This upcoming film is slated for release in 2025 and promises to be a unique offering, treated differently from previous films. Shahid Kapoor is also gearing up for the release of Deva, co-starring Pooja Hegde, scheduled for February 14, 2025.
The collaboration of Shahid and Vishal has generated excitement, given their earlier successes. With Sajid Nadiadwala on board, this action thriller is anticipated to be a captivating ride, highlighting Shahid’s action chops and Vishal’s directorial.
