Kabir Khan unwraps on his collaboration with Salman Khan with condition under which he will make Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2.

The 2015 Kabir Khan’s directorial Bajrangi Bhaijaan, has been one of the most loved movies featuring Salman Khan. The film, also featured Harshaali Malhotra, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The film was acclaimed by critics and audiences alike.

Notedly, it emerged as a massive hit and acknowledged as the seventh-highest-grossing Indian film of all time and the fourth-highest-grossing Hindi film. The story of Bajrangi, centres around a kind-hearted man who helps a mute Pakistani girl reunite with her family, touched hearts across the globe. Fans have been waiting with bated breath for the filmmaker Kabir Khan and Salman Khan to
unite again after their last collaboration on Tubelight.

Kabir, who directed Ek Tha Tiger in 2012 and Bajrangi Bhaijaan in 2015, recently shared why their films together have been so successful. He mentioned that they were fortunate that people connected with the stories and characters they created. Kabir also acknowledged that Salman Khan’s incredible popularity played a vital role in the success of their films.

There has been a lot of speculation in the entertainment news world over a possible sequel to Bajrangi Bhaijaan, but Kabir has a clear stance on sequels. He firmly believes that not every successful movie needs a sequel. Kabir shared that after every hit film he made, people suggested making a sequel, be it New York, Ek Tha Tiger, or Bajrangi Bhaijaan. However, he never followed through because, in his opinion, a sequel should only happen if there is a story that truly deserves to continue the original tale. Kabir explained that he would only consider making a sequel to Bajrangi Bhaijaan if a script came along that was compelling enough to take the story forward. He said that the decision should not be based solely on the success of the first film but on the strength of the new story. So, while fans might be hoping for a sequel, it will only happen if Kabir finds a script that meets his high standards for storytelling.

Meanwhile, Kabir Khan’s last directorial movie was Chandu Champion. With Kartik Aaryan featuring in the lead role, the movie hit the theatres in June
this year and garnered great reviews.
