Earlier there were reports of “King’s’ shoot in UK. But now as per news from Red Chillies, SRK”s production house, major scenes will be filmed in Budapest
The Sujoy Ghosh’s directorial , King also marks the much-anticipated big-screen debut of SRK’s daughter, Suhana Khan. The father-daughter duo will portray a mentor-protégé bond in a story set against the gritty backdrop of the underworld.

Sources reveal that significant portions of the film will be shot in Budapest. This decision comes after initially considering the UK as a filming location.
SRK eventually, preferred Budapest to shoot significant scenes, believing the city’s rich architectural heritage and unique charm make it the perfect backdrop for the film’s intense storyline.

With its blend of Eastern and Western influences, the city offers a picturesque and historically rich setting, ideal for the action-packed scenes that King promises.
The film’s shoot is expected to kick-off between late September and early October. The cast, comprises Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, and newcomer Abhay Verma. All are set re to bring this mega-budget action entertainer to life.

The makers felt that just felt Sujoy would be the right choice, because they wanted it to be very emotionally correct.
