Kapil Sharma’s Season 2 returns on September 21- Kapil ensures turning “Shanivaar into Funnyvaar’
Kapil Sharma’s Season 2 of the show returns on September 21- streams on Netflix. Kapil ensures turning Shanivaar into Funnyvaar. The makers made the announcement through a funny teaser video.
The video kicks-off with Kapil Sharma, Kiku Sharda, Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek, Rajiv Thakur, and Archana Puran Singh having a round table meeting discussing ideas for the show. Soon, they come up with the concept of turning Shanivaars into Funnyvaars, where they basically turned any word starting with ‘Sh’ to ‘F’.
The annoucement came weeks after Kapil Sharma confirmed the return of season 2 on Independence Day. The first season of Kapil’s show streamed in March and concluded on June 22.
The 13 weeks show, saw the visit of
several guests including Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Singh, Riddhima Kapoor, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Sania Mirza, Mary Kom, Saina Nehwal, Badshah, DIVINE, Diljit Dosanjh, Imtiaz Ali, Parineeti Chopra, and the entire cast of Heeramandi. However, the response to the shift in pace and platform was muted amid the audience. It is to be seen how the second season manages to conquer the niggles of the first iteration.
Earlier, in a statement, Kapil Sharma stressed that associating with Netflix for the Great Indian Kapil Show has been an exceptional experience and on that note, they ensure not to keep their audience waiting for too long for the next season 2
