SRK terms Vijeta Pandit’s expectations from industry ‘unreasonable’
Recently, Vijayata Pandit, wife of music composer late Aadesh Shrivastava recalled that Shah Rukh Khan promised to help her son Avinesh in his career by giving him a break in a project produced under his production house Red Chillies Entertainment had made an appeal for her son’s support.

The industry lost a renowned music composer and a good human being in Aadesh Shrivastava.
His abrupt passing away in 2015 was a cruel blow, and one that his wife the lovely Vijayta Pandit has not been able to come to terms with.
She is now left to her own devices, and is struggling to bring up her two sons, both young adults waiting to get a break in the industry.
It’s very sad that the music composer’s elder son Avinesh’s acting career has not taken off. Infact, he had assisted Vishal Bhardwaj before being launched in a project that never took off.
Veteran actress Farida Jalal who was part of that project said that they seriously tried really tried their best to keep that project alive for Aadesh and Vijayta’s sake.
Reportedly, some time back,after Aadesh left the mortal world to the iimmortal world, Vijayta expressed her desire to stage a comeback to acting. She went on to reveal that she has begun to feel the burden of her loneliness only now and went on to voice that when Aadesh passed away all their family and friends were here to support her. Her two sons are also busy with their own lives. She suddenly found herself with a lot of free time in this big lonely house.
Twentyfive years is a very long time ever since she quit and left many offers. Now she desires to return to doing selected television serials where she will have the freedom to come and go at times convenient to her. But she needs to find something to do for herself and be sure of what she does. She has her husband’s name and reputation to uphold and will not do anything undignified.
Sadly the return to acting did not materialize. Vijayta’s dream now is to see her elder son’s launch as a leading man. But to expect Shah Rukh Khan to come forward to launch the kid is a bit of a stretch.
While Shah Rukh is not likely to comment ,a close friend of SRK said, “He probably paid a condolence visit and said the appropriate things to console the family. To hold him to his words spoken as gesture of comfort is impractical and unrealistic. Shah Rukh owns a production house not a trust.
