Meet Farheen Khan Madhuri’s lookalike- quit acting to get married
Farheen Khan was frequently compared to Madhuri Dixit due to their similar facial features and expressions. She was pitched for this popular Shah Rukh Khan movie which she rejected.
There have been male and female lookalikes in the Hindi Cinema.
One such recent famous lookalike is of Farheen Khan. She emerged as a notable figure in the 1990s after her debut in the 1992 released film Jaan Tere Naam, which made her an overnight sensation.
Farheen was often compared to Madhuri Dixit due to similar facial features and expressions, leading to her being dubbed as Madhuri’s lookalike.
In face of the success of ‘Jaan Tere Naam’ and the popularity of the song “First Time Dekha Tumhe,” her career didn’t reach the same heights as Madhuri’s. Nevertheless, Farheen appeared in a few other films.
Farheen Khan also featured as Akshay Kumar’s sister in ‘Sainik’ further making her presence in Bollywood amidst the early 90s. In addition to her career in Hindi Cinema, she found noteworthy success in the South Indian film industry, where she shared screen spacd with Kamal Haasan in ‘Kalaignan’. She rejected film ‘Baazigar” featuring Shah Rukh Khan to share screen space with Kamal Haasan in ‘Kalaignan’. Later Shilpa Shetty was roped in.
But after working with Kamal Haasan, she bid adieu to acting to enter marital bliss.
Reportedly, Farheen Khan quit acting at the peak time to marry Indian cricketer Manoj Prabhakar. She always wanted to have a family as she came from a broken family. After she got married, the couple moved to Delhi. They have two sons Raahil and Manavansh.
Farheen started her business venture – Naturence Herbals, an organic skincare line. The couple also has a homestay in Nainital that has a luxury villa.
