Yash and Advani are all set for romantic sequences in ‘Toxic’ in the midst of Mumbai schedule.
The much-anticipated and much-publicised film ‘Toxic’ featuring Yash and Kiara Advani, ensures to thrill the audiences with its gripping narrative and thrilling action sequences. Following a month-long Bengaluru shoot, the production team is all set to embark on the next phase of filming in Mumbai. The Geetu Mohandas’s directorial Toxic will delve into the dark world of drug trafficking. The film’s plot unfolds against the backdrop of Karnataka, Goa, and Mumbai, offering a diverse and immersive experience for viewers.
As per a reports in Mid-while the initial schedule in Bengaluru highlighted on intense action scenes, the Mumbai leg will primarily focus on the romantic chemistry between Yash and Kiara. The production design team has meticulously crafted elaborate sets at the studios in suburban Mumbai to bring the love story to life.
A source close to the production house revealed that the shooting will kick-start either before or after Diwali, contingent upon the weather conditions. The Mumbai schedule will include both indoor and outdoor scenes, ensuring a visually stunning portrayal of the film’s world.
Beyond the romantic narrative, Toxic boasts a stellar ensemble cast, including Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Shruti Haasan, and Tara Sutaria. The film is poised to be Yash’s most ambitious project to date, with the makers sparing no expense to create a truly unforgettable cinematic experience.
Given the immense popularity of Yash and the anticipation surrounding Toxic, the production team has adopted a measure of secrecy regarding the specific locations and dates of the Mumbai shoot. The filmmakers aim to prevent crowds from gathering at the filming sites, ensuring a smooth and uninterrupted production process.
The project is a joint production between Yash’s own banner, Monster Mind Creations, and production house KVN Productions.
While shooting began in June 2024, the team resumed filming in September. The film is currently slated for a theatrical release on April 10, 2025.
