For almost a century, the Kapoor family have been active in the entertainment industry.However, Ranbir Kapoor’s elder sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni married to Bharat Sahni has stayed away from the big and small screen until now. The jewellery and fashion designer has made her reality show debut in Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives Season 3 alongside newbies Shalini Passi and Kalyani Saha Chawla.
Whereas, her husband Bharat Sahni is a successful businessman, entrepreneur owning a garment manufacturing company WearWell worth Rs.252 crore.
Bharat Sahni is married to Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor’s daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni since 2006 after dating for five years. The couple have a daughter, Samara.
Bharat Sahni joined the family business back in 2002, and is responsible for creating as well as executing WearWell’s marketing strategy, and managing the merchandising teams. Besides Bharat, his brothers Akshay Sahni and Nitin Jain are also on the Board of Directors.
The Delhi-based company’s clientele is from Europe, USA and Canada, and includes renowned fashion and lifestyle brands like Marks & Spencer, Inditex (Zara and Massimo Dutti), Mango, Forever 21, Next, Oasis, Esprit, Urban Outfitters, Baby Shop, Tesco, and more. WearWell’s production capacity is 500,000 pieces per month across woven and knitted garments, while they specialise in womenswear and kidswear.
As per his LinkedIn account, Bharat Sahni did his schooling at Vasant Vihar, Delhi, and holds B.B.A in Finance and Marketing degree from Saint Mary’s College of California. Sahni is also an Ohio State University alum, holding a Bachelors in Business, Management, Marketing and related supporting services.
