Nag Ashwin directorial Kalki 2898 AD re-releases in Russia

News comes to the fore that the Nag Ashwin directorial ‘Kalki 2898 AD is set for re-release in Russia. Notably, fans of Prabhas across the twin Telugu states are celebrating the re-release of some of the actor’s previous blockbusters on the eve of his birthday.

Kalki 2898 AD is now dubbed in Russian and is gearing up for its re-release in cinemas across Russia on November 1. It’s worth mentioning that the original version of this Nag Ashwin directorial had earned about 1.64 million in its first release, emerging as the highest grossing Indian movie in Russia this year. After the incredible success of the Baahubali franchise across the world and Russia in particular, there has been a growing craze for Prabhas’ movies in Russia.

Also featuring legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Deepika Padukone in lead roles, Kalki 2898 AD is produced by Ashwini Dutt and released in cinemas worldwide on June 27 and ended up amassing over Rs 1,100 crore gross. The film features a scintillating soundtrack composed by Santhosh Narayanan.
