Naam is produced by Anil Roongta under Roongta Entertainment and Snigdhaa Movies Pvt. Ltd. The makers unveiled the poster recently with the official title. The film features Bhumika Chawla and Sameera Reddy in the main roles. Naam will be released by Pen Marudhar in theatres. This film marks Ajay and Bazmee’s fourth collaboration and the two worked together in Hulchul, a 1995 action thriller, Pyaar Toh Hona Hi Tha a romantic-comedy and Deewange 2002 psychological thriller.
The makers of Naam issued a press release that revealed that the film was shot in 2014 but delayed due to the death of one of the producers. According to trade sources, the film was stuck in limbo for the longest time as they were unable to find distributors.
On the work front, Ajay was seen reprising his iconic role of Bajirao Singham in Singham Again which is Rohit Shetty’s film. The cop universe features Kareena Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor in main roles. While, Bazmee returned with the horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 which featured Kartik Aaryan, Madhuri Dixit, and Vidya Balan in main roles. Both the films were released on November 1.
