Russian Prez Vladimir Putin’s India visit stands confirmed
Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirms Russian President Vladimir Putin’s expected to visit India and the date will be announced soon.
This will be Putin’s first trip to India since the Russia-Ukraine war began in 2022
His last visit was on December 6, 2021, when he met PM Modi in his New Delhi office for the 21st India-Russia Annual Summit.
However, Indian side is yet to give an official statement over Putin’s visit.
It was in late October when PM Modi and Putin’s recent meeting took place in Kazan, Russia, on the margins of the 16th BRICS Summit.
The two leaders had earlier met in Moscow for the 22nd Annual Summit in July 2024.
