Taking to her instagram account Samantha Ruth Prabhu shared Rudyard Kipling’s poem ‘If’. She called it a guiding light in her life. Actor Arjun Kapoor also shared his connection with the poem. Notably, Samantha’s post came ahead of her ex-husband Naga Chaitanya’s wedding to actress Sobhita Dhulipala. Samantha and Naga Chaitanya divorced in 2021.

The actress took to Instagram and also shared a photo of two pages of the poem. Alongside an excerpt from the poem, she wrote, “This poem has always been a guiding light for me and I wanted to share it with you today.” The poem holds a special place in literary and cultural history for its timeless wisdom. It serves as a guide to living a life of integrity, balance, and resilience.

The post resonated with several, including Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor, who commented about the poem’s impact on his own life. She has a print of this on her wall. It really helped her when she needed inspiration, he shared. Fans chimed in with heartfelt comments, calling the poem inspiring and appreciating Samantha

“If” is a poem Rudyard wrote in 1895 and has left a lasting legacy worldwide. In India, framed copies adorn cadets’ study desks at the National Defence Academy (NDA) in Pune and the Naval Academy in Ezhimala. The iconic lines about “Triumph and Disaster” are displayed at the players’ entrance to Wimbledon’s Centre Court. These same lines are also featured at the West Side Tennis Club in New York, a former US Open venue.
