Preity Zinta joins IPL auction 2025.
Preity Zinta was in her most joyous spirits after her IPL team, Punjab Kings (PBKS) bought Shreyas Iyer on board. The actress, who co-owns the team with her ex boyfriend and businessman Ness Wadia, participated in the IPL Mega Auction which took place in Jeddah on Sunday.
She and Ness, along with the coaches and management, were in a bidding war with Delhi Capitals over Shreyas Iyer. Eventually, Shreyas was sold to PBKS for Rs 26.75 Cr. He was one of the most expensive players sold this season.
A video has gone viral showing Preity and Ness celebrating after bagging Iyer. Photos of a chirpy Preity have also gone viral.
Reportedly, following the concluding of the first day of the auction Preity took to her Instagram account and shared her thoughts and shared a picture in which she was holding up the name cards of Glenn Maxwell and Marcus Stoinis. The photo was shared with the caption, “Day 1, nothing less than A1!

for the auction, Preity dressed up in a traditional outfit. She opted for a white kurta-pyjama and styled it with a phulkari dupatta.
She completed her look by leaving her hair open and a bindi. Infact she was seen wearing a similar look at the IPL 2024 matches earlier this year.
