Shreya Ghoshal to perform at Tripura Tourism Festival’s Grand Finale
Renowned singer and judge at singing realty shows, Shreya Ghoshal will perform at Tripura’s Grand Finale of Tripura Tourism Promo Fest 2024, multi- Venue Cultural Extravaganza announced by Tripura’s Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury on Saturday. The Festival is aimed at showcasing the state’s rich tribal heritage and natural beauty. The announcement came amidst a press conference held at the Geetanjali Tourism Guest House in Agartala.
The festival kicks-off on December 3 at Narikel Kunja in Dumboor, where Chief Minister Professor Dr. Manik Saha will inaugurate the event at 11 AM. On the same day, the Chief Minister will also inaugurate a newly constructed bridge and homestay facilities at Dumboor Lake. The festival will then move to different locations across the state including Rajghat in Neermahal on December 9, Jampui Hill on December 11, and culminate in Agartala with events from December 12-14.
The grand finale at Swami Vivekananda Stadium alias Astabal Maidan in Agartala will feature performances by acclaimed Bollywood playback singer Shreya Ghoshal and Tripura’s own Indian Idol 4 winner Sourabhee Debbarma, along with other local artists.
The prime objective of this fest is to promote Tripura’s diverse cultural heritage and natural beauty while boosting economic development through tourism as per Minister Chowdhury.
The event is being jointly organised by the Tripura Tourism Department and Tripura Tourism Development Corporation Limited.
