New Maha Govt forms on 5 December Devendra Fadnavis frontrunner for CM post
A day following their meet with the Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP national president J.P. Nadda in New Delhi, three Maharashtra Mahayuti leaders were given to understand that the State will get a BJP Chief Minister.
Caretaker CM and Shiv Sena Chief Eknath Shinde left for his native village in Satara on Friday November 29, 2024.
As per a top source in the Shiv Sena,.the BJP gave different reasons for the delay in government formation. They have already communicated that we are not a hindrance to the selection of the CM.
They have openly taken this stance and declared
their support to the decision of the top leadership of the BJP.

Only the etranged Thackeray cousins- Uddhav and Raj- can decide if they want to join hands, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Ambadas Danve said on Saturday.

Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray’s political position is ambiguous and people cannot understand whether he is supporting the state government or opposing it.
“After every poll defeat, there are such talks (that the Thackeray cousins should come together). You will find these discussions every 8-10 days after an election verdict is out. Only they (the Thackeray cousins) can decide if they want to (come together).
Devendra Fadnavis Is the frontrunner for CM post.
As per a senior BJP leader, the new government of the Mahayuti alliance in Maharashtra will be formed on December 5 with Devendra Fadnavis emerging as the frontrunner to become the next chief minister.
