Sachin Tendulkar opens up on daughter Sara’s new journey

Sara Tendulkar makes her father Indian Cricket Legend Sachin Tendulkar as she embarks on a new chosen role in her career.

The Cricket legend shared that Sara has collaborated with him as a director at the Sachin Tendulkar Foundation.

Notably, in 2019, Sachin and wife Anjali established the foundation which works for the well-being of children.

Taking to his X, Sachin wrote that he feels overjoyed to share that his daughter Sara has joined Sachin Tendulkar Foundation as Director.She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical and Public Health Nutrition from University College London.

As she embarks on this new journey in her career to empower India through sports, healthcare, and education, it serves as a reminder of how global learning can come full circle.

Sara, 27, was born on October 12, 1997 and has a massive fan following on social media.

Sachin’s son Arjun, born on September 24 1999. plays domestic cricket for Goa and was recently bought by Mumbai Indians in the IPL 2025 mega auction in Saudi Arabia.

He has been associated with the franchise since 2021 but was not retained for the new season. He went unsold on the first try, but MI decided to invest INR 30 lakh on him in the second chance.

Sachin has been the mentor of the five-time champions since 2014. He played for the franchise from 2008 to 2013. He was recently spotted at a ceremony unveiling a special memorial to honour his childhood coach, Ramakant Achrekar.

His close pal Vinod Kambli also graced the occasion, and the two were seen talking to each other.
