She was crowned Miss World in 2000 and made her acting debut in The Hero: Love Story of a Spy in 2003 and featured in hits like Andaaz, Fashion, and Krrish. Her Hollywood debut was with the series Quantico and featured in films like Baywatch and Isn’t It Romantic.

She played Jhilmil in Barfi, as Mary Kom in the biopic, and Kashibai in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani
