Failure of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan- FIR against director Ali Abbas Zafar

It appears that the makers of “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” are in for fresh trouble for the film’s failure.

Things are now taking a worse turn since Bandra police received an order from the Mumbai court to file an FIR against director Ali Abbas Zafar.

The order has been issued based on a complaint filed by the film’s producers Vashu Bhagnani and his son Jackky. They have made allegations of financial misconduct against Ali and his entire team while the film was being made.

The complaint additionally features other charges such as fraud, forgery, criminal breach of trust, and misusing funds.

It also alleged that Ali and his associates reportedly made false signatures which expanded the film’s budget at one point.

Multiple sections of the Indian Penal Code are being imposed such as criminal conspiracy.
The court mentioned that the fraud transactions happened from different places and considering the size of evidence reportedly obtained, the investigation will take time to complete.

The production cost was reportedly settled at Rs. 125 crore and it increased after Ali’s associates misled the producers.
The complaint alleged that Ali’s team additionally made negotiations without proper permission from the producers.
Bade Miyan Chote Miyan turned out to be one of the biggest disasters of this year despite featuring popular faces like Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff.

Considering the losses faced by the makers, a legal issue was expected to happen and it seems like the problem is not going to end so soon.

Meanwhile, Ali has not shared any response and further updates are currently awaited.
The current situation has once again proved that it is necessary to invest money only if the makers are confident in their content.

If not, it is better to make a normal film in local conditions instead of trying to touch international standards.
