The Karan Johar directorial still remains a fan-favourite musical romance drama. The film, with its stellar cast, heartwarming story and timeless music, continues to hold a special place in the hearts of audiences even as of today.
Taking to his social media Karan Johar, the producer-director shared a heartfelt post, reminiscing on the film’s journey and the incredible cast who brought it to life. In the post, he also expressed gratitude for the love and support it continues to receive.
And to celebrate this landmark, he penned, “23 years!!! Phew…truly one of those pinch-me moments – right now & even back then…being on set with these legends!! It was my second film as a director, and I think I was immensely fortunate that this magnanimous cast and the entire crew put in so much faith in me to deliver khushi & gham in abundance!”

Meanwhile, Karan Johar gears up to take on the hosting duties in the reality show The Traitors. The series will feature some of the well-known names from the television industry and a few from Bollywood, including Karan Kundrra, Jannat Zubair, comedian Harsh Gujral, Raj Kundra, Jasmine Bhasin, Uorfi Javed, Sudhanshu Pandey and Anshula Kapoor. The filming of the reality show started earlier, and it will be airing on Amazon Prime.
