Meet Nafisa Ali Femina Miss India-worked with big stars and bid adieu to acting to get married

It’s an established fact that beauty pageants Miss India, Miss International, and others have always been the path for women for an entry into the glamour world.

Several actresses, including Aishwarya Rai, Priyanka Chopra, Sushmita Sen, Manushi Chhillar, and other pageant titleholders, have paved their way into Bollywood.

Similarly, it was Femina Miss India title holder Nafisa Ali
represented India at the Miss International contest, and declared the 2nd runner-up. With grit and determination, she made her way into Bollywood.

Nafisa had shared screen space with Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmendra, Akshay Kumar, Hrithik Roshan, and others.

While She hailed from a minority community Nafisa fell in love with a Sikh man and later rebelled to marry him.

After her marriage, Nafisa’s mother-in-law initially refused to accept the relationship, and as a result, Nafisa had to spend many days at her husband’s friend’s house.
The iconic actress turned heads with her beauty in the early 70s. Nafisa has appeared in numerous Bollywood films, notable being Junoon alongside Shashi Kapoor, Major Saab, with Amitabh Bachchan, Bewafaa Life In A… Metro and Yamla Pagla Deewana with Dharmendra. She also acted in the Malayalam film with Mammootty.
Later bid adieu to Bollywood to enter Marital Bliss.
