Nayanthara-Prabhas to collaborate after 17 years
Rumours are a buzz that Kollywood’s two of the biggest actors Nayanthara and Prabhas will be reuniting on screen after 17 years with “Raja Saab”.
Media reports reveal that Nayanthara will be featuring for a ‘special’ song with Prabhas in the film.
‘The Raja Saab’ is a comedy-drama that will scheduled for be April 10, 2025 release.The film features an impressive supporting cast, including Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Jisshu Sengupta, and Brahmanandam. SS Thaman scores music for the film.
Reportedly, this reunion of Nayanthara-Prabhad will be for the first time together since their 2007 VV Vinayak directorial film ‘Yogi in which Prabhas played Eeshwar Prasad, a young man who gets embroiled in crime while trying to provide a better life for his mother. The film was well-received and highlighted the chemistry amid the two stars.
In recent news, Nayanthara also hit the headlines for public feud with fellow actor Dhanush regarding her documentary on OTT. The controversy arose when Dhanush allegedly sent her a legal notice demanding Rs 10 crore for using footage from their film ‘Naanum Rowdy Dhaan’
produced by Dhanush.
On the other hand, Prabhas last seen in ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ made a mammoth collection at the box office. Later, he will also be working on upcoming films, ‘Salaar Part 2’, ‘Kalki 2898 AD: Part 2’, Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Spirit’ and a film with director Hanu Raghavapudi.
