Rapper Honey Singh shares his collaboration with Salman for song ‘Let’s Dance Chotu Motu

No doubt, over the years Honey Singh has rapped for many Bollywood celebrities

But for Salman Khan’s film “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan”, Salman not only wanted Honey to rap for a song but also asked him to appear in its music video.

In his new Netflix documentary, “Yo Yo Honey Singh: Famous,” he collaborated with Salman Khan on the song “Let’s Dance Chotu Motu” for the film “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.” It was Salman Khan’s personal request to Honey Singh to create and feature in the song’s music video.

Honey also went on to mention that Salman was to shoot the song in the next couple of days and that Honey was given the opportunity to rap for it. Honey was excited about the chance and was eager to see how it would turn out.

Honey Singh listens to the song and quickly realizes that it needs a rap to enhance its energy. He then mentions that they would need to come up with a rap for the track. The next scenes show Honey and his team working together, brainstorming, and creating the rap lyrics on the spot.

Salman also appears in the documentary, sharing why he believed Honey Singh was the ideal choice for the song. He explains that while on shoot for Bhaijaan in Hyderabad, he had the idea and decided to send it to Honey. After going to the studio, Honey wrapped the rap in just 30 minutes. Salman then invited Honey to join the song’s video, calling it a fun track, especially for kids.

The Mozez Singh directorial “Yo Yo Honey Singh: Famous” explores the rapper’s battles with mental health and substance abuse, highlighting his path to recovery. The film premiered on Netflix on December 20.
