Akshay-Priyadarshan collaborate for ‘Boot Bangla’
Akshay Kumar and director Priyadarshan yet again collaborate for an horror comedy, Bhooth Bangla. The duo recently kick-started filming this new horror fantasy comedy in Mumbai and after its wrap up have moved to Jaipur outdoor schedule.
As per sources, the Jaipur schedule is expected to include several outdoor shoots in the city’s iconic locales, adding some cultural backdrop to the film. It’s a well known fact that Akshay and Priyadarshan shot for one of their most popular films, Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007), in Jaipur’s Pink City. Fans can expect a similar kind of magic from the duo once again. From what is gathered is that this time around, the fantasy elements will be mixed with traditional horror and a lot of comedy.
Bhooth Bangla, Priyadarshan’s directorial features Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, and Wamiqa Gabbi. The film releases on April 2, 2026.
