Many may not know that Raza Murad and Zeenat Aman are first cousins.
Both share a strong connection to Bollywood through their family’s rich cinematic legacy. Zeenat’s father, Amanullah Khan, was a renowned screenwriter who worked on classics like Mughal-e-Azam and Pakeezah. Amanullah was also the uncle of Raza Murad, making Zeenat his paternal cousin and the niece of actor Murad.
Zeenat Aman, known for her beauty and bold roles, emerged as one of Bollywood’s leading actresses in the 1970s and 1980s, and was among the highest-paid stars of her time. She adopted her father’s pen name, ‘Aman,’ as her screen name, honoring his legacy.
