Earlier there was news from the production house of SS Rajamouli that Priyanka Chopra will be doing the lead role in SSMB29. But now in a new twist, Priyanka will not be in the lead role but will have a very significant role in the film. The twist it is learnt is the age factor.

Coming to the topic now, there are reports that this film could have Priyanka Chopra in the female lead drone. For this she had been touring Hyderabad adding weight to the speculations.

Amidst the existing complaints from fans that Priyanka is already 42 and she might not make the best pair for Mahesh on screen, she will not be playing the female lead role in the film, but instead a significant one at it.

Apparently, Rajamouli wants Priyanka to play a significant female character in the film that drives the story in its own capacity. It is also heard that he has the plan to rope in some other Indonesian actress for the female lead role in order to add versatility.
