Celina Jaitly returns to face arc lights again after 14 years
After staying for 14 years abroad living in Singapore Dubai and Europe, actress
Celina Jaitly has moved to Mumbai to explore new professional opportunities.
Taking to her Instagram she shared her thoughts on her
long-awaited comeback She pointed out how some Indians adopt foreign accents after short trips abroad, whereas hers has remained unchanged regardless over a decade of living overseas.
Speaking of her own experience, she went on to added, that notwithstanding being an expat woman for the last 14 years into Singapore, Dubai, and Europe, her English accent still hasn’t changed!”
The actress further shared that living in Austria has made her English worse due to speaking German as her first language there.
Now, returning to Mumbai, she hears her friends sounding like English news broadcasters, and she can’t help but wonder—where did she go wrong? Clearly, her ascent to a fancy accent didn’t go well… instead, she just tripped over grammar and landed in the land .
