In the midst of high expectations, actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s ambitious period action drama, Rakt Bramhand , went on floors last year.

The Tumbbad fame Rahi Anil Barve’s directorial produced by Raj and DK, Rakt Brahmand is an original show being made by Netflix. The series also features Bollywood actors Aditya Roy Kapoor, Ali Fazal, and Wamiqa Gabbi in lead roles.

However, reports of Netflix stalling Rakt Brahmand after financial irregularities amidst the making of the show have been going viral on the internet for the past couple of days.

As per reports, an internal audit by Netflix and D2R Films unearthed financial discrepancies to the tune of Rs 2 crore by an Executive Producer.

This led to Netflix temporarily stalling Rakt Brahmand’s shoot after 26 days of production.

Reacting to the ongoing issue, Raj and DK took to X and assured fans that Rakt Bramhand on Netflix, Gulkanda Tales, and The Family Man 3 on Prime are their upcoming projects. Referring to the Rakt Brahmand financial fraud, the directors duo went on to write, “Shit will keep happening…someone will steal, someone will throw you under the bus, people will say what they want to.The best reaction to all of it seems to be to just keep at it. To break new ground and keep coming to you with new, original stories. That’s been the promise.”
