In a unique feat, the actress romanced both father and son on screen, delivering hits with both. The actress first worked with Vinod Khanna in the 1988 film Dayavan. Years later, in 1997, she was paired with his son, Akshay Khanna, in Mohabbat.

Madhuri Dixit’s bold scenes in Dayavan generated significant buzz, sparking much discussion about the pair. Years later, Dixit admitted that starring in the film was a misstep. Subsequently, she shared the screen with Vinod Khanna’s son.
Madhuri Dixit’s debut film, Abodh, was a flop. However, her following project, Tezaab, catapulted her to stardom. She quickly rose to become the highest-paid actress of her time.
Madhuri Dixit’s filmography boasts numerous hits and blockbusters, including Khalnayak and Hum Aapke Hain Kaun. It is believed that Dixit commanded a higher fee than Salman Khan for Hum Aapke Hain Kaun.
However, she was never able to deliver a hit with Rishi Kapoor despite collaborating together on three films: Sahibaan   Yaarana and Prem Granth. All the three films films proved a debacle at the box-office.

Their final film together, Prem Granth, was a colossal flop and the pairing of the two superstars failed to resonate with audiences. This resulted in their last
on-screen appearance together, cementing the label of an ‘unfortunate pair’.
