Anil and Sunita celebrate”Mahashivratri”at residence- celebs attend
As the nation celebrated the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri on 26 February, Anil Kapoor and his family hosted a special puja at their Juhu Mansion and sent invites to many celebrities.
The occasion saw the attendance of celebrities like Rani Mukerji, Urmila Matondkar, Padmini Kolhapure, Shilpa Shetty and other celebs.
Meanwhile, Bollywood Celebs also extended heartfelt wishes to their fans.
Kareena Kapoor shared a serene image of Lord Shiva on her Instagram Stories, and wrote writing, “May Bholenath’s grace remove all evil from life,” accompanied by folded-hand and red-heart emojis. Kajol also posted a divine image of Lord Shiva meditating in the Himalayas, wishing everyone “strength, peace, and blessings this Maha Shivratri.”
Ajay Devgn, known for his spiritual inclinations, shared a glowing image of Lord Shiva with the words “AUM nmH shivaay” inscribed, sending prayers for peace and positivity. Varun Dhawan joined in by posting a vibrant video of himself dancing with Ganesh Acharya and Shushant Thamke to their song “Shivoham,” writing, “Happy Mahashivratri! Har Har Mahadev!”
Parineeti Chopra and her husband, AAP leader Raghav Chadha, marked the occasion with a visit to the Kashi Vishwanath Temple. The couple shared pictures, including a warm family moment with Parineeti’s parents. Lara Dutta, fulfilling a long-held wish, visited Nepal’s sacred Pashupatinath Temple. She posted a heartfelt video of her experience, expressing gratitude for witnessing Maha Shivratri at one of Lord Shiva’s most revered sites.
Maha Shivratri, symbolizing Lord Shiva’s divine union with Goddess Parvati, is celebrated with great devotion across India, marking the triumph of light over darkness.
