even after its digital release on giant OTT Netflix.
Though many watched it they even forgot it.
It comes as a big surprise that Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Daaku Maharaj has turned our to be highly successful with the Malayalam audience where he previously had zero popularity. Streaming on Netflix for four days, the film has gained unexpected popularity among Malayali viewers.
Notwithstanding its average theatrical run, Daaku Maharaj is enjoying good appreciation on OTT. Balakrishna is being flooded with praises for his performance, elevation scenes, visuals, and BGM.
What’s more surprising is that Malayali audiences—known for their preference for class films—are now embracing Balayya’s mass appeal. Many are only now realizing his screen presence, proving that OTT platforms can change audience perceptions in unexpected ways!
