Sonu Sood’s action-thriller “Fateh” for OTT release:
After its two months release in theatres, (released in January) actor-turned filmmaker Sonu Sood’s action-thriller now moves on to the OTT platform – JioHotstar.
Reportedly, Fateh opened its business with ₹2.4 crores in India. The movie emerged as a sleeper hit as it minted ₹26.86 crore in India after 4 weeks run.
Sonu Sood returned to Hindi cinema after three years with Fateh, which also marked his directorial debut. In the movie, the actor plays the role of an ex-agent, who is on a mission to bring down the entire cyber mafia to find a missing girl.
The movie hit the theatres on January 10 and received mixed reviews from the audience.
Featuring Sonu Sood, Jacqueline Fernandez, Vijay Raaz and Dibyendu Bhattacharya, the movie has started streaming on JioHotstar from today, January 7. The official handle of the streaming giant shared a new motion poster and captioned, “Jab baat insaaf ki ho, toh sirf ek naam kaafi hai – Fateh. Fateh is Now Streaming only on #JioHotstar.”
What’s next for Sonu Sood?
On the professional front Sonu was last seen in Madha Gaja Raja, which released this year after 12 years of delay due to legal and financial troubles. The actor is yet to announce his next project.
