B’town Diva Madhuri Dixit graced the IIFA 2025 Women’s Day Special – The Journey of Women in Cinema. She was joined with filmmaker, Guneet Monga.
‘The Journey of Women in Cinema,’ event was hosted as part of its grand Silver Jubilee celebrations, honoring 25 years of cinematic excellence and global unity.

Vice-President Noreen Khan with actress Madhuri Dixit and filmmaker Guneet Monga. Madhuri enthralled her fans with her iconic hook steps of the Ek Do Teen song from Tezaab.
The actress looked stunning in a golden attire. She opted for a shimmery blouse and paired it with a draped skirt. The actress recalled her 39 years in the film industry and also noted amidst the event that women are now main characters, not just supporting ones.
Meanwhile, the Academy Award-winning producer, Guneet Monga, shared her struggles, winning an Oscar, and the importance of women leading. She’s hopeful for the future because more women are working in Indian films.
Meanwhile, the IIFA Awards’ 25th anniversary celebration will unfold over two days, Saturday and Sunday, with Karan Johar and Kartik Aaryan serving as hosts.
The event ensured exciting performances by legends of Hindi Cinema Shah Rukh Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, and Kareena Kapoor Khan.
On the work front, Madhuri has featured in some of the hit films including Tezaab, Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!, Dil To Pagal Hai, Khalnayak and Devdas. The actress was last seen in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
