Raakhee Gulzar recalls Shashi Kapoor’s discipline kindness and their last meeting
Veteran actress Raakhee Gulzar recalls working with Shashi Kapoor in Sharmilee, praising his discipline, punctuality, and gentlemanly nature.
Raakhee also admired Shashi Kapoor’s courteous nature. She has yet to meet a more cultured man like him. If we were at the airport, he would pick up the vanity case and other luggage of any lady he came across. If there was a crowd at a shoot, he would clear it so she could feel comfortable. These qualities she has never encountered in any of her other heroes.
She has worked with Dev Anand Dharmendra Amitabh Bachchan Rajesh Khanna Jackie Shroff Anil Kapoor. But she was uncomfortable working with Pran KN Singh or Prem Chopra.
All said Raakhee is an exceptionally talented actress and natural.
