Shahrukh Salman Arijit to grace IPL 2026l5 beginning next week
No doubt, Indian Premier League (IPL) opening ceremonies have always been synonymous with grandeur and high-octane entertainment.
This year, the IPL 2025 season begins with
star-studded opening ceremony on Saturday, March 22, at Kolkata’s Eden Gardens. The event is expected to witness the presence of Bollywood’s biggest icons, including Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Salman Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Shraddha Kapoor, and Sanjay Dutt.
The IPL season will also feature exceptional performances by some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry. Arijit Singh, Shreya Ghoshal, Karan Aujla, Disha Patani, Shraddha Kapoor, and Varun Dhawan are set to take the stage, setting the perfect tone for an exciting cricket season.
Adding an international flavour to the event, American pop rock band OneRepublic is reportedly in talks to perform at the ceremony. The Colorado-based band recently collaborated with Karan Aujla and Disha Patani for the song ‘Tell Me’, making their performance highly anticipated.
The opening ceremony will also be graced by an elite guest list, including Bollywood celebrities like Katrina Kaif, Ananya Panday, Madhuri Dixit, Janhvi Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Pooja Hegde, Ayushmann Khurrana, Triptii Dimri, Urvashi Rautela, and Sara Ali Khan, among others.
