The veteran filmmaker, showman and director with a midas touch Subhash Ghai recalled how could he forget the date 24, month October and year 1978? This was the Mahurat day of KARZ his first film to roll from his production house Mukta Arts. This was also with the blessings of his 1st producer
N N Sippy of film Kalicharan – his first distributor Gulshan Rai and his first friend hero of Shatrughan Sinha of his two blockbusters Kalicharan n Vishwanath along with Rishi Kapoor and Tina Munim and co-producer Jagjit Khorana

Subhash Ghai and his team never imagined that KARZ would be a cult film celebrating its 45 years now at
Red Lorry Film Festival
on 21 March 1130 am at PVR BKC BANDRA.
