Actor Adi Irani recalled Govinda changes scenes way people acted
Actor Adi Irani has played several unforgettable roles in his long Bollywood career. He is acknowledged for playing Vicky Malhotra in Baazigar with Shah Rukh Khan and the villain Tiger Tadipaar in Anari No 1 with Govinda and Raveena Tandon.
Over an interview Adi spoke on working with actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt, and Govinda. Talking about Govinda, Adi shared that they started their careers around the same time.
Adi wrnt on to reveal that while they were not together from day one, their struggle in the industry started almost together. He used to visit the studio where Adi learnt dancing, and at that point, Adi and his friends used to make fun of Govinda’s style of dancing. We had no idea that one day that particular style would blow up and he would be known for it; we were fools for laughing at him,” he said.
Adi Irani said Govinda was a natural actor who liked to do things his own way. He shared that Govinda often changed scenes to make himself stand out but added that he didn’t mind it.

He would read the scene and then would go on to change everything, and not just his role but also the way people were acting around him in a scene.
He would try to change the scene in a way that would help him shine over others in the frame.
Adi Irani said Govinda was insecure about everyone on set. He didn’t think Adi could play Tiger Tadipaar and suggested adding two more villains.
“He wasn’t convinced that he (Adi) could play the role of Tiger Tadipaar in the film and suggested adding two other villains alongside me, but once he saw his look for the character, he felt confident that he (Adi) could pull it off.
