Raakhee opens up on Rajesh Khanna and films done with him

It is a well-known fact that Raakhee is a born actress. She is blessed with hidden talents.

Recently she recounted on sharing screen space with Rajesh Khanna in Shehzada, Daag and Aanchal. She went on to add that nobody can deny the fact how much people loved Rajesh Khanna.

Frankly speaking at that time around we all saw films that featured Rajesh Khanna. There was an unbelievable craze for him. Rajesh Khanna was a very decent personal. Raakhee and Rajesh Khanna had some great scenes together in the
Yash Chopra directorial ‘Daag’. He was a very easy-going co-star, very spontaneous and didn’t get into any heavy-duty preparation. The actress also spoke about the time when both were admitted to the hospital around the same time. She said, they were admitted on the same floor. Dimple had dropped by to see her, but didn’t go over to see him; her mind didn’t allow her to see him at that stage of health.
Raakhee has worked with Dev Anand Dharmendra Shashi Kapoor besides Rajesh Khanna. Also worked with Jackie Shroff Anil Kapoor. She has returned to acting and doing a Bengali film and an Hindi film. Her daughter Meghna Gulzar has emerged as a director to reckon with.
