Amitabh Bachchan who had once recalled an incident amidst a public appearance where he shared an anecdote about him and Mumtaz.
In 1973, amidst the shoot of OP Ralhan’s ‘Bandhe Haath’, the actress used to travel in her Mercedes at that time. When she came to know about Bachchan’s aspiration to have one such high-end car for himself one day, she left the keys of her car for him.
Bachchan was taken aback when he found his car keys being replaced by Mercedes and appreciated her gesture.
She quit acting long time back. But even today she is spotted at different events in the showbiz. She has walked the ramps of fashion shows. Recently, she worked with Manish Malhotra.
