England Cricket Board set to retire Pataudi Trophy
In a new development plans are a foot by the England Cricket Board to ‘retire’ the Pataudi trophy. This might come into effect from the upcoming series in June amid India vs England which is just over two months remaining for a five-Test series beginning June 20 at Leeds.
Earlier in 2014, veteran actress and Pataudi’s wife Sharmila Tagore had presented the Pataudi Trophy to England’s captain Alastair Cook.
It’s just over two months remaining for a five-Test series, which begins on June 20 at Leeds, according to a report in Cricbuzz.

Actress Sharmila Tagore, wife of the late Pataudi, has expressed her unhappiness over how they were treated by the England Cricket Board earlier.
