Once Sanjeev Kumar shared his love for films on the screen, but off the screenm- he was a big-time foodie.

Recently, actor-turned filmmaker Sachin Pilgaonkar narrated story of Sanjeev Kumar and his love for food when he revealed that Sanjeev Kumar was such a big foodie that he rented a 1BHK flat in Pali Hills to eat non-vegetarian dishes, as he could not have it at his home due to restrictions.

This house was taken by him.had taken only for consuming
non vegetarian because non-vegetarian food wasn’t allowed in his house. He would order Paya, Nihari.

Sachin revealed that Sanjeev Kumar, Shammi Kapoor, Shatrughan Sinha, Randhir Kapoor and himself would all eat together there. This was shared by him in a YouTube series ‘Khaane Mein Kya Hai

Coming to the food, the paya had to be reheated 4-5 times because they would continue drinking till 5 a.m. and then wellll would eat the paya. We would eat it with those bakery naans and enjoy it,” Pilgaonkar recalled the good times with Sanjeev Kumar Shammi Kapoor Shatrughan Randhir Kapoor.
