Ajay Devgn recalled on Manoj Kumar as an human being apart from being an actor and filmmaker.
Ajay went on to reveal that Manoj Kumar was not merely actor-filmmaker, but, was a personal landmark in his family’s journey.
He gave his father, Veeru Devgan, his first break as an action director in “Roti Kapda Aur Makaan” and collaboration continued till Kranti. Those moments, are now a segment of Indian Cinema’s Golden History.
His films – Upkar, Purab Aur Paschim, Shor, Kranti, weren’t merely films, but, were national emotions. His creative genius, unwavering patriotism, and storytelling depth set a benchmark that very few have matched.
As Indian cinema bid adieu to its Bharat Kumar – a storyteller, a patriot, and a legend, Ajay Devgn too wishes to thank Manoj Kumar o for shaping his father’s journey and for inspiring countless storytellers like him.
