Reportedly, Punjab Kings opener Priyansh Arya like his ‘younger brother’. Priyansh, got advice from Gautam Gambhir to play in DDCA league as well as Hot Weather tournament which benefitted the young batter immensely.
BCCI/IPL Priyansh Arya also trains under Gautam Gambhir’s childhood coach Sanjay Bharadwaj.

Arya’a century was by any batter against Chennai Super Kings.
Priyansh Arya has a strike-rate of over 210 in IPL 2025 while scoring 158 runs. He was bought for Rs 3.8 crore by Preity Zinta co-owned Punjab Kingss.
Currently, Gautam Gambhir is on vacation in Europe with wife Natasha and his daughters.
