Mumbai based Film Heritage Foundation founded by Shivendra Singh Dungarpur, is a .
non-profit organization, dedicated to film preservation, restoration and archiving of India’s film heritage.
The organization deemed it an honour to welcome legendary music composer Anandji of the famed Kalyanji-Anandji duo to the FHF archive today, 21 April 2025 and to show him the collections and listen to some amazing anecdotes from the nonagenarian whose career spanned close to five decades.
The duo were acknowledged for memorable tunes in over 250 films like “Saraswatichandra, “Safar” “Johny Mera Naam”, “Kora Kagaz”, “Don” “Muqaddar Ka Sikandar” “Qurbani” and “Lawaaris” 1981 that featured iconic singers like Lata Mangeshkar, Mohammed Rafi, Kishore Kumar, Manna Dey and Asha Bhonsle.
