The actor plays lawyer-nationalist Sir Chettur Sankaran Nair, fighting against the British Empire after the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. Last night, a special screening was held for the star cast, their families and industry celebs. A proud Akshay was seen beaming with joy inside the theatre after the end credits rolled.

With wife Twinkle Khanna by his side, for Akshay Kumar it was a moment of pride as he was spotted as seen walking down the stairs of the cinema hall theatre stairs after the film got over.
