Aamir Khan gives a miss to Andaz Apna Apna Screening After Pahalgam Terror Attack

Taking into account the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam on innocent people who were there on vacation and for other reasons, and which has sent shockwaves across the country, prompting several members of the film industry to cancel or postpone events in solidarity, Aamir Khan, chose to give a miss to the special screening of his iconic 1994 comedy Andaz Apna Apna set for a theatrical re-release on April 25, 31 years after its original premiere.

Over media interaction Aamir explained the emotional toll the tragedy had taken on him. He was reading reports about what happened at Pahalgam in Kashmir and he has been badly affected by the senseless killing of innocent and that precisely the very reason was in no state of mind to attend the preview. But will watch the film it sometime later.
