Legendary filmmaker Mani Ratnam is currently giving finishing touches
featuring Kamal Haasan and Tamil stars Simbu and Trisha in lead roles, the film is scheduled to hit theaters worldwide on June 5, 2025.
With just a month for the release, the hype around Thug Life is building with each passing day.
If the ongoing word is to be believed, Mani Ratnam and Simbu will be joining hands for the third time. Besides Thug Life, Mani and Simbu had earlier teamed up for the intense action drama Chekka Chivantha Vaanam (Nawab in Telugu), the film was a decent success at the box office.
The buzz further has it that leading Kollywood production house Lyca Productions will be associating with Mani Ratnam’s Madras Talkies to bankroll the Mani Ratnam-Simbu standalone film. If things fall into place as expected, the film will mark Simbu’s 52nd project.
